This is similar to a taco soup, but I think it's better. Everyone that eats this falls in love with the taste and how simple it is to make. Great for potlucks!

Ingredients For santa fe soup

1 lbground beef
-
1 mdonion (white or yellow) chopped

1 canpinto beans (undrained)

1 canblack beans (undrained)
-
1 canlight red kidney beans (undrained)

1 cancorn (undrained)
-
1 canrotell diced tomatoes with chilies (mild or med)

1 candiced tomatoes
-
1 pkgtaco seasoning mix (i like taco bell)

1 pkgranch seasoning (can be dip or dressing)

1-2 cwater (add as much or little, soup will be thick)

salt to taste
How To Make santa fe soup

1In a large pot, brown ground beef with onion. Drain off fat. (Here comes the easy part) Add all the rest of the ingredients and stir well.

2Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for at least 30 minutes. The longer, the better. This is great in the crock pot too!

3This soup is great topped with cheese, sour cream and served with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
