AS with all my other recipes, I'm posting for my personal reference. As well as because I seem to have a different recipe from everyone I know. ALL INGREDIENTS SHOULD BE MEASURED TO TASTE ... I don't measure things when I make these!

Ingredients For perfect devilled eggs

  • hard boiled eggs, peeled & halved
  • real mayonaise
  • dill pickle relish
  • spicy brown mustard
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

How To Make perfect devilled eggs

  • 1
TO HARD BOIL EGGS: Place deisred amount of eggs in large pot. Cover with COLD water. Place pot on stove, over high heat. Bring to rolling boil. Once water is boiling, set timer for 11 minutes.
  • 2
FOR EASY PEELING: Verify eggs are fully cooked. Place ENTIRE pot (hot water and all) in the sink, and run cold water into pan until water temperature is cool and eggs are cool enough to handle. Place eggs on a towel to dry. Once dry (temperature doesn't matter), peel. I hard boil/peel my eggs this way EVERY time and have NEVER had the shells stick!!

FILLING: Remove yolks from egg halves, and mush with fork (or use a grinder, like I do. Haha) until crumbled thoroughly (no chunks). Add ingredients generously to taste. Mix well. Spoon into empty egg whites and enjoy!
