Onion Pakoras are a kind of street food. People generally care for it during the rainy season as its little spicy. It goes best with hot tea or coffee.

Ingredients For onion pakora

  • 1 c
    onion, sliced thin
  • 3/4 c
    chickpea flour / garbanzo flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    green chilli, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    cilantro, fresh, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How To Make onion pakora

  • 1
    add all the ingredients except oil. Add water little by little and mix to a consistency when you think you can fry the droplets. The miture should be thick. So be careful when you add water.

    Heat oil and lower the flame. Add as many tablespoon of the mixture in the hot oil (each tablespoon separated from the other) as it covers oil partially and you would be able to comfortably fry the droplets.

    Fry till golden brown in low to medium flame adjusting in betewwn till crispy. Take them out in paper towel and serve with your chioce of dip.
