easy creamed onions

For those who can't have my cheesy baked onions, this is a simplified creamed onion dish. Perfect for the holidays.

Ingredients For easy creamed onions

  • 1
    16 oz bag frozen pearl onions, thawed and drained
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 can
    fat-free cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/3 c
    1% milk
  • 1/4 tsp
    each salt and pepper

How To Make easy creamed onions

  • 1
    In lg skillet over med-high heat, melt butter. Saute onions until soft. In bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Mix well.
  • 2
    Pour the soup mix into skillet. reduce heat. Simmer 8-10 mins, or until bubbly and hot.
