How To Make corn- on- the -cob

Wrap terry dsh towel around each ear of corn. Place in a sink filled w/cold water. Leave in sink for at least 1 hr. (I have left it in there all day!) Remove terry towel wrapped ear(s)of corn, twist ends of towel to get enough of the water out so it doesn't drip on the way to your microwave oven. Place terry dish towel wrapped corn in microwave. Zap for a few mins. I zap one ear of corn for 7 mins. Some do it for less time and some do it longer... Remove ear of corn from microwave (BE CAREFUL..it will be HOT). Place ear of corn in empty sink to cool down. When it's cool enough to handle, unwrap. Now pull the shucks down leaving in tact, silks will come off very easily. Now you have a fabulous steamed ear of corn w/a handle!! Put whatever you like on the ear of corn (olive oil, butter, S & P, seasonings, etc.). Now eat and enjoy!!
