These mushrooms are great over a juicy grill steak, burger, pork chop or chicken breast. You can serve them as a side dish to pretty much any grilled, roasted or baked meat or fish.

Ingredients For sauteed mushrooms

  • 2 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 lb
    sliced mushrooms, button, cremini, or morel
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1 c
    rose wine
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper

How To Make sauteed mushrooms

    In large cast iron skillet, over medium heat cook onion in butter until tender.

    Add mushrooms and garlic powder and cook until mushrooms are tender.

    Add the remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
