Ingredients For orange-herb sweet potatoes w/ bacon

  • 4 lb
    sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1/4"-thick slices
  • 1/2 c
    frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 3 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, cut up
  • 4 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled

How To Make orange-herb sweet potatoes w/ bacon

    Place sweet potatoes in a slow-cooker. In a bowl, stir together orange juice, brown sugar, salt, sage and thyme.

    Pour mix over potatoes. Toss to coat. Dot w/ butter. Cover, cook on high 2-1/2-3 hrs. Stir. Sprinkle w/ butter
