My husband and I used to go to this place that made these beans,he loved them so much, I had to try to recreate them. This is what I came up with.

Ingredients For marty's favorite ultimate nutty beans

  • 2 c
    green beans, fresh
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/8 c
    pecan, unsalted dry roasted(chopped) halves
  • 11/2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper

    Wash,and blanch beans,then run under cold water. Let drain and dry.

    In a large fry pan, start your butter , and oil, add sugar,pecans,let cook for a minute. Add beans,cook 5 minutes coating with mixture. Salt,to taste.
