This is my mother-in-law's recipe.

Ingredients For beets

  • beets
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How To Make beets

  • 1
    Boil beets until soft. Let set over night. Cut in fourth's.
  • 2
    Boil all together. When boiling put beets into the mixture. Before starting to boil. Put into jars.
