Ingredients For balsamic roasted onions and potatoes

1 lbred onions, peeled and sliced 1/2 inch thick

3 lbpotatoes, peeled and sliced 1/2 inch thick

1 cbutter

salt and freshly ground black pepper

6sage leaves, ghopped

3/4 cbalsamic vinegar
How To Make balsamic roasted onions and potatoes

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees
-
2Melt butter in a large skillet, add potatoes and onions, stir to coat

3Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until golden brown

4Season with salt and pepper, add sage and 1/2 the vinegar and mix
-
5Place in an oven proof dish, cover and bake for 20 minutes

6Add remaining vinegar and bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender
