These baked beans are a must at our house when we grill out or just family gatherings!The recipe is courtesy Of Sue & Gloria. They are a little unusual, but very yummy.

Ingredients For sue & gloria's baked beans

  • 4 can
    (16 ounce) baked beans ( i use bush's)
  • 1 can
    (20 ounce) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 c
    molasses
  • 1 c
    bbq sauce of your choice
  • 2 Tbsp
    yellow or brown mustard
  • 5 slice
    cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 can
    (16 ounce) french-fried onions, crushed
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

How To Make sue & gloria's baked beans

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    In a large bowl, mix together beans, pineapple, molasses, BBQ sauce, mustard, 1/4 of the bacon, and 1/4 of the onions. Add some salt and pepper, to taste. Pour beans in 9x13 inch casserole dish and sprinkle remaining crushed onions and bacon on top. Cook in oven for 1 hour or until beans brown and bubbles. Serve warm.
