Can be done in stages. I cooked vegetables night before, baked in the morning and then microwaved it before serving it.

Ingredients For broccoli cauliflower bake

  • 1 md
    head cauliflower, small florets
  • 1 lb
    broccoli florets
  • 1 1/2 c
    monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 can
    green chiles, chopped & drained
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter or margarine, divided & melted
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 3/4 c
    crushed seasoned stuffing

How To Make broccoli cauliflower bake

    Add 1 inch of water to a Dutch over, add cauliflower & broccoli. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 7 minutes or until tender. (I used my vegetable steamer)

    Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine cheese, sour cream, chilies, 2 tablespoons melted butter, salt & pepper. Drain vegetables well, gently fold into cheese mixture.

    Transfer to greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Toss stuffing and remaining butter, sprinkle over vegetables. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until heated through.
