It is VERY yummy and will taste just like cheesy potatos, but please remember this is not your everyday potato side dish recipe because of all the salt, butter and whipping cream. I keep it for special occasions.

Ingredients For very creamy potatos

  • 1
    bag shredded hashbrowns
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 pt
    full fat whipping cream
  • lawry's seasoning salt

How To Make very creamy potatos

    Layer half of the hash-browns in a un-greased casserole dish (9x13 pan works just fine), slice 1/2 of the butter in tabs on top and sprinkle with Lawry's salt(don't be afraid to go a bit heavy on the salt, it makes it better). Layer rest of hash-browns, 1/2 stick of butter, and sprinkle with Lawry's salt. Pour whipping cream over hash-browns and bake uncovered for 45mins @ 350.
