How To Make 'soupy' burgers

  • 1
Divide Hamburger into 4 portions, form into patties and fry til both sides are brown. If they are not quite done they will finish in the sauce.Do not season with salt because the soup is salty enough.
  • 2
Remove the patties to a plate and drain off the fat from the pan.Leave brown bits in the pan.Pour the condensed soup and the tomatoes into the same pan ,stir and heat to a simmer.Add the patties in to the sauce and be sure to spoon some sauce over the burgers.Cover and simmer for about 20 to 30 min.Do not dilute soup. You can turn the burgers and stir the sauce half way through the cooking if you like.

Place a burger onto a plate and a portion of mashed potatoes.Cover potatoes and burger with sauce There has never been enough to freeze so I don't know if it freezes well. There are plenty of vegies so I don't make a side dish.
