Have not made these, but, what the heck, they are quick and easy and sound very good. Does anyone remember the round peanut patty? I have tasted this recipe and is very good, prettymuch tastes like the store bought ones.

    large bag butterscotch chips
  • 6 tbs
    peanut butter
  • 1 bag
    shoestring potatoes
  • melt butterscotch chip in microwave; watch carefully so as just to completely melt them. add the peanut butter and stir in until blended. then add shoestring potatoes, slowly, to the

  • 3 cups
    sugar
  • 1 cup
    water
  • 1 cup
    light corn syrup
  • 1 lb.
    raw peanuts
  • 6 drops
    red food coloring
  • 1/4 cup
    margarine & 1 pinch salt

How To Make peanutty butterscotch candy

  • 1
    Bring sugar, water and syrup to a boil; add peanuts and food coloring. Cook over medium heat to hard ball stage.

    Remove from heat; add margarilne and salt. Beat until thick; pour onto large greased cookie sheet. Break into pieces when cool.
