This is a very delicious, easy to make casserole that feeds a large crowd. It tastes like potatoes au gratin.

Ingredients For hash brown casserole

  • 2 lb
    frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • TOPPING
  • 2 c
    crushed corn flakes
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter

How To Make hash brown casserole

  • 1
    Stir all ingredients (except topping) in a large bowl. Pour into a 3 quart casserole dish.

    Mix corn flakes and melted butter. Put the topping over the potatoes.

    Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly, about 1 hour.
