This is a family favorite. I make it every Thanksgiving and always end up giving the recipe to all of our female guests...Everyone loves it!

Ingredients For thanksgiving yam soufffle

  • 3 lb
    yams (about 6 yams) baked and skinned
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ginger
  • 1 tsp
    orange zest
  • 1/2 c
    whipped cream, unsweetened
  • 3
    eggs, whip until creamy

How To Make thanksgiving yam soufffle

    Whip yams until smooth. Mix the first 6 ingredients together and whip til blended
  • 2
    Beat the whipping cream til thick
  • 3
    Beat the eggs til creamy, then fold into the cream.

    Fold the cream mixture into the yam mixture
  • 5
    Pour into GREASED casserole dish
  • 6
    Bake at 375* for 30 minutes..Yummy!
