My mom loved to cook and create new recipes & came up with this one many years ago. She's been gone from us for a while now but each time we make it so many great memories come to mind. She would always make it to serve on Christmas eve along with other homemade goodies while we finished preparing for Christmas morning. And it always got made for visitors and guests. My daughter and I have brought it to countless potlucks & social gatherings & can never leave without being asked countless times for the recipe.
