homemade peanut butter

I can honestly say that there are times that I pretty much live off peanut butter and crackers. I usually buy the organic kind and can go through a 2 pound jar in 2 weeks. It really gets quite pricy!!! So I decided to try to make it myself. My plan is to make peanut butter, then put the homemade peanut butter into muffins or a bread and give it a try. I purchased a 16 ounce can of no salt, no skin roasted cocktail peanuts. You can use salted, but I wanted to control the salt myself. So this is what you do. Open the peanuts. Put them in a food processor. Give it a whirl.
