cranberry salsa cream cheese dip
My family loves serving this dip at holidays or summertime. It's a nice change to traditional salsa. You can also substitute the cranberries for other favorite fruits like pineapple, berries, or any other fruit you desire. It's so yummy.

Ingredients For cranberry salsa cream cheese dip

3 cfresh cranberries, rinsed and drained

1/4 cminced green onions

2 smapproximately 2 tablespoons, jalapeno peppers, cored, seeded and minced

1/2 csugar

1/4 cfresh cilantro leaves, minced

2 Tbspfinely greated fresh ginger

2 Tbspfresh lemon juice
-
28 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
-
cranberries and/or cilantro sprigs for garnish
How To Make cranberry salsa cream cheese dip

1Rinse, drain, and pick over cranberries, (discarding all that are soft or bruised). Place them in food processor and pulse until finely chopped but not mushy.

2Place crushed cranberries in a bowl; mix together with onions, jalapeno peppers, sugar, cilantro leaves, ginger and lemon juice.

3Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours so flavors develop. On serving plate, place cream cheese; and cover with the dip. Garnish, if desired. Serve with crackers.
