Ingredients For hot and spicy tomato salsa

3tomatoes, medium, ripe and coarsley chopped

1 tspolive oil

1/2 tsppepper

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspground red pepper

1/4 clemon juice

1/3 cdry white wine
-
3 Tbsponions, finely chopped

2 smjalapeno chile peppers, seeded and finely chopped

6garlic cloves, medium and minced

15 oztomato puree

1/4 ccilantro, fresh and chopped
How To Make hot and spicy tomato salsa

1In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except cilantro.

2Bring to a boil over high heat.

3Reduce heat to medium; cook, uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Stir in cilantro.

5Serve hot or cold as a dip for chips or as a relish.

6Makes 4 cups.

7Can be frozen for up to 2 months in tightly covered container.

8VARIATIONS: Unsweetened apple juice can be used in place of 1/3 cups dry white wine.
