Ingredients For brown sugar syrup

1 cup boiling water

2 cups brown sugar

1/2 stick butter ( no sub's )

1 tbsp. vanilla extract

1 tbsp. cornstarch

2 tbsp. cold water

2 tbsp. rum extract (optional)
How To Make brown sugar syrup

1Bring mixtrue to a boil and thickened with 1 tbsp cornstrach dissolved in 2 tbsp. cold water.If desired add 2 tbsp. rum instead of vanilla---great over cake too !
