suzanne's dip

This is called Suzanne's Dip because many, many, many years ago, we went to a party and Suzanne made this dip - after that, when we would make it we always called it Suzanne's Dip - it's almost famous !!! We serve it with corn chips. Great to serve for Super Bowl Sunday (or any day for that matter :)

Ingredients For suzanne's dip

  • 2 8 oz. pkg
    cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 can
    hormel chili (no beans)
  • 1 8 oz. pkg
    monterey jack cheese or white cheddar cheese - grated

How To Make suzanne's dip

    Place one can of chili on the bottom of an 8 X 8 glass pan
  • 2
    Next, put one package of softened cream cheese (I usually put mine in the microwave for a few seconds) and spread over the chili
  • 3
    Next, put another can of chili on top of the cream cheese
  • 4
    Then, put the second layer of cream cheese on top of the chili
  • 5
    Top with the Monterey Jack or Cheddar
  • 6
    Place in preheated (350) for approximately 20 minutes or so (until heated through and cheese is melted. Stir and serve. You can also do this step in the microwave until heated through.
