parsley hummus dip

Why does BBQ season have to be only hot dogs and hamburgers? This is an easy compliment to the summer table. I usually make a double or triple recipe because it goes so quickly. You can keep this as a dip or a family favorite is to smother grilled chicken. I have also used with homemade pretzels as a condiment...I believe it's better than a spicy mustard. :)D.

Ingredients For parsley hummus dip

  • 15 oz
    can of garbanzo beans
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 1/2 c
    fresh parsley

How To Make parsley hummus dip

  • 1
    Rinse and drain garbanzo beans.
  • 2
    Combine all ingredients into a food processor or blender except parsley. Blend until smooth.

    Add parsley, pulse until smooth. Serve in bowl with warmed pita bread and/or cut vegetables.
