Ingredients For golden vegetable fondue

8 ozcarrots

1 lbsmall sausages, cooked

1/8 tspnutmeg, freshly grated

2 ozbutter, cut in small pieces

10 ozchicken stock

1 smonion

2 stickcelery

1/2rutabaga

2 cpotatoes, cooked
How To Make golden vegetable fondue

1Chop all vegetables finely, then put into a saucepan with stock; bring to the boil and simmer until just tender.

2Drain vegetables and leave to cool slightly.

3Puree vegetables in a blender or food processor, then pass the puree through a sieve into the fondue pot.

4Place the pot over a low heat and gradually beat in the butter.

5Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and keep hot over the burner while dipping sausages and potatoes into vegetable mixture.
