easy caramel-ish dip for apples

This is a great dip for parties, showers, and tailgating. You can put it together at practically the last minute, although you might want to cut the apples into slices and dip them in a baggie of lemon water (1 Tablespoon of lemon juice in 1 cup of water) ahead of time, if you aren't able to cut the apples just as you need them. =^..^=

Ingredients For easy caramel-ish dip for apples

  • 8 oz
    block of cream cheese, softened
  • jar
    of caramel ice cream topping
  • some
    finely chopped walnuts or peanuts, optional

How To Make easy caramel-ish dip for apples

    Spread softened cream cheese on a pretty serving plate.

    Pour SOME of the caramel sauce over the cream cheese. Sprinkle nuts over all.

    Serve with fresh apple slices. This dip is also great with nut-based crackers.

    NOTE: Do NOT refrigerate dip after preparing because it will be too solid to scoop! But refrigerate any leftover dip, then let it soften before serving again.
