My mom used to make this for us kids. I think she got the recipe from a canned pumpkin product. She use to serve this w/ fresh cut up green and red apples. This is also great served w/ your favorite mini bagels, toasted.

Ingredients For cream cheese and pumpkin spread

  • 8 oz
    reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c
    canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 c
    splenda or sugar
  • 3/4 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla

    In lg bowl, beat all ingredients w/ a mixer until smooth.

    Cover, refrigerate at least 1 hr. Serve w/ fresh slices of green and red apples, or serve w/ toasted mini bagels.
