I get asked to bring this to all the cookouts and gatherings! This is the basic recipe but it is easy to add or replace various ingredients. It's fun to try different things and it is a pretty salad. I'm sure I'll be making it again soon and I will add a picture. It's easy, delicious, and popular!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Easy to make, this pasta salad is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Perfect for summer cookouts and holidays (Memorial, Day, July 4th, Labor Day, etc), it's tangy and full of fresh flavor. Don't like an ingredient Judith used? Just swap it out. The recipe is very forgiving. We love that you can just throw in ingredients you like or have on hand.

How To Make favorite pasta salad

  • Draining cooked pasta.
    1
Cook pasta to box directions. Drain in colander and run cold water over to rinse.
  • Vegetable ingredients prepped.
    2
While pasta is cooking, cut tomatoes, onion, and green pepper.
  • Tossing vegetables and pasta in a bowl.
    3
Add vegetables to a large bowl with pasta. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour one of the bottles of dressing into the pasta mixture. Cover and put in the refrigerator to cool completely.
  • Favorite Pasta Salad tossed together in a bowl.
    4
Once cooled, toss with a large spoon to mix well and add a second bottle of dressing, mix. Add crumbled Feta cheese and mix. I do this before I serve it or before I walk out the door on my way to a cookout.
