Ingredients For jellied egg salad

  • 4 lg
    hard boiled eggs
  • 1 c
    boiled water
  • 1/half
    water, cold
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbs
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    each of diced celery.red pepper green pepperand grated carrots
  • 1/4cup
    grated carrots 2 green onions
  • 85 gram
    lemon jello

How To Make jellied egg salad

    boil eggs.4 to 5 minutes let sit in hot water for 5 minutes..pour out hot water and add cold water ..when cooled peel and chop the eggs and set aside.. chop the vegetables in small dice and set aside

    put lemon jello in medium size bowl..add boiling water and mix til jelly dissolves add cold water.mayo. vinegar s and p to taste and beat with mixer pour into a pie plate and place into freezer..until the content just start to set around the edges it might be anywhere from one half to 3/4 of an hour..just keep an eye..when it has come to this stage pour into bowl and beat with electric mixer..add vegetables and eggs ..pour into mold and refrigerate till set..several hours..this is a nice salad with hot dogs..hamburgers..steak etc..
