Ingredients For mexi salad

  • 1 md
    head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 lg
    red bell pepper
  • 1 bunch
    green onions
  • 1 pkg
    taco or nacho cheese flavored doritos
  • 1 c
    canned black beans
  • 2 c
    shredded medium cheddar cheese
  • 1 c
    diced fresh on the vine tomato
  • 1 c
    frozen (thawed) corn
  • 1 bottle
    hidden valley southwest dressing
  • THIS SALAD ONLY KEEPS FOR A DAY IN THE FRIG BECAUSE THE DORITOS GET SOGGY

How To Make mexi salad

    You will need a large glass bowl so you can see the layers of salad once you are finished! Prep by chopping the lettuce, tomato, onion and pepper. Thaw the corn, and crush the doritos into small pieces be sure not to make them into crumbs.

    Start with the lettuce, add 1/3 of the beans, tomato, pepper, corn, onion, crushed doritos shredded cheese, continue until the last ingredient on top is the cheddar cheese. Let everyone serve themselves and add their own Southwest dressing.
