I usually don't post food projects - but this one was just too cute not to share. I did this for my daughters work place - but we will recreate it for the 4th of July and add a Barbie with the fruit salad of course.

How To Make watermelon shark

1I could not find a oval watermelon so this is a round one to create a flat surface for the melon to rest. I sliced off a bit of the bottom. Cut the area for the mouth and reserved to make the fin. Cut triangle teeth then ran the paring knife to form a "GUM" line and removed the green skin from the rind to expose the white flesh. used a melon baller to carve out the eyes and filled the hole with grapes held in with one tooth pick. Took the reserved rind that the mouth was shaped from removed the pink edible melon and sliced a triangle secured to melon with 2 toothpicks! Have FUN!
