2 lbs. lean hamburger

1 C. water

2 tsp. liquid smoke

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1 Tbs. mustard seed
-
3 Tbs. Morton's Tender-Quick (meat cure)
How To Make russ's summer sausage

1Mix all ingredients. Roll into 2 or 3 rolls and wrap in aluminum foil with shiny side toward meat. Refrigerate 24 hours. Punch holes in bottom of foil roll and place on rack with a pan to catch grease. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
