We are working over at Sacheen Lake, Wa. The driveway is flooded so we have to go pretty slow, to get to the other side..What a bonanza of wildlife..None that would stay still long enough. We are passing the water lillies (just about ready to bloom), cat tails with red wing black birds chasing each other around to get the best spot for a nest, for the little lady. Canadian geese, sticking there heads out of the tall grass just enough to peek-out at us..their babies are hatched and are hidden. Mallards and hen ducks bobbing along the road until we get to close and off they fly to the other side of the pond area. The weather was sunny today and I remarked that the turtles would be out soon. My husband said it was to cold..Ha Ha

    This turtle stayed put long enough for me to get the camera out, turn it on, find it in the viewer, zoom in and try to focus and hold the camera still.

    I was able to take two photos before he/she slid off the log and disappeared under the water.
