Simple and great smelling. I like to mix the dry ingredients up in little ziplocks to have them ready to add to water during the holiday season.

Ingredients For christmas simmering potpourri

  • 3 stick
    cinnamon
  • 3
    bay leaves
  • 1/4 c
    whole cloves
  • 1 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 2
    sections fresh lemon, or dehydrated lemon
  • 2
    pieces orange peel, or dehydrated orange
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 qt
    water

How To Make christmas simmering potpourri

    Mix all ingredients in medium saucepan.

    Simmer on low heat.
  • 3
    Add more water as needed.
