Ingredients For curried turkey and ham croissant

  • 1 lb
    fresh asparagus or 1 (10 oz) frozen asparagus spears, cooked and drained. i buy the frozen
  • 12 oz
    sliced ham, your choice..i use virginia baked
  • 12 oz
    thinly sliced turkey
  • 6 oz
    sliced swiss cheese
  • 8
    croissants, split
  • CURRY SAUCE
  • 1/4 c
    butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    half - n - half
  • 1/4 c
    realemon lemon juice from concentrate

How To Make curried turkey and ham croissant

    Preheat oven to 350 degree

    Arrange equal ammounts of asparagus, ham, turkey and cheese on bottom half of each croissant. Place top halves of croissants on cheese. Bake on a sheet pan 15 minutes or until hot.

    Meanwhile, make curry sauce. In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter, stir in 2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder and 1/4 tsp salt. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups of half n half; over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened, about five minutes.

    Remove from heat, slowly stir in 1/4 cup lemon juice from concentrate. Spoon sauce over croissants, garnish with paprika if desired.
