Ingredients For seafood stew

  • 1
    potato, chopped
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2 stalk
    celery, chopped
  • 1
    carrots, chopped
  • 1 can
    chicken broth
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes
  • 1 can
    tomatoe sauce, small
  • 1/2 lb
    andouille sausage, cut into small pieces
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    old bay seasoning
  • 1/2 - 3/4 lb
    shrimp
  • 1 c
    crab meat
  • water to cover by 1/2 inch

How To Make seafood stew

  • 1
    Put first nine ingredients in 10 inch DO. If needed, add water to cover ingredients by ½ inch of liquid.

    Bring to a boil and bring down the heat until the stew simmers. Simmer until the vegetables begin to turn soft.

    Add shrimp and crab meat and cook another five to ten minutes.
  • 4
    Serve with bread or rolls. Makes approximately eight servings.

    You can add other seafood like clams, white fish, scallops and crawfish.
