Ingredients For beer braised country style pork ribs

  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 lb
    bone-in country style pork ribs
  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bottle
    beer
  • 3 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper

How To Make beer braised country style pork ribs

    Preheat oven to 350° F. In a plastic bag, combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat the ribs with flour mixture, a few pieces at a time.

    Heat oil in a Dutch oven. Brown ribs on all sides. Add onion and beer.

    Bake for 1 hour. Remove ribs from the Dutch oven and pour off the liquid. Combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, garlic and cayenne pepper. Place ribs back into the Dutch oven. Pour sauce over ribs and cook another 1/2 hour.
