I call this Toni's BBQ pork because I got it from my friend, Toni. It's so easy and it's delicious! It's great as a pork roast for a main course or making BBQ pork sandwiches...it works really well as sandwiches if you're having a lot of people or taking potluck.

Ingredients For toni's bbq pork

  • 1
    pork loin, boneless (3 lb to 5+ lb)
  • 1 bottle
    sweet baby ray's barbecue sauce (small)
  • 1 can
    cherry pie filling or apple pie filling
  • 1
    onion

How To Make toni's bbq pork

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

    Peel onion and cut in half.
  • 3
    Place roast in roasting pan. Put onion on top of roast. Pour BBQ sauce and pie filling over the roast/onion. Place in oven for 3 hours.

    I have used a slow cooker for this and it works great cooked that way, too.

    Serve with roasted redskin potatoes and vegetable and/or salad. Even the young kids loved it!
