Ingredients For pork stroganoff, crock pot style

  • 1 1/2 lb
    boneless, pork shoulder, cut in 3/4 inch cubes
  • 1 Tbsp
    salad oil
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 3 oz
    can, chopped mushrooms, drained
  • 1 Tbsp
    instant beef bouillon granules
  • 1 tsp
    dried dill weed
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    dairy sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    dry white wine
  • 3 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • hot cooked noodles

How To Make pork stroganoff, crock pot style

    In a skillet, brown pork in oil; drain fat. Add onion and garlic; cook until onion is tender. Transfer to crock pot cooker. Combine mushrooms, bouillon granules, dill weed, pepper, and water; pour over meat.

    Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours.

    To serve, turn cooker to high heat setting. Heat 15 to 20 minutes, or until bubbly. Blend sour cream, wine, and flour; stir into hot mixture. Heat through, about 15 minutes; stir often. (DO NOT BOIL). Serve over noodles. Garnish with snipped parsley, if desired.
