To help reduce clean up, I find it easier to brown pork chops on the side burner on the grill outside. This will reduce the amount of oily cleanup on the stove.

Ingredients For pork chops over rice

  • 8
    boneless pork chops
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
    uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 can
    14 1/2 oz. chicken broth
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 pkg
    (10 oz) frozen peas
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme

How To Make pork chops over rice

    In a large skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops in oil; remove. Drain.

    Add remaining ingredients to skillet. Place the pork chops over the rice mixture. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
