This is my mother's recipe. It is good as a maindish or a side.

Ingredients For don't peek casserole

  • 1 c
    uncooked rice
  • 1 lg
    bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 lg
    onion, choppped
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 lb
    hot sausage(i use jimmy dean)

How To Make don't peek casserole

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients together with hands. Press into a large casserole dish. Cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours
