My husband and son say this is the best pork roast I have ever made. I don't remember for sure where I got it, but it was probably a Taste of Home Recipe since I get many recipes from that site.

Ingredients For crockpot cranberry pork roast

    3 or 4 pound boneless pork loin roast
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1
    14 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    cranberry juice
  • 1 tsp
    ground mustard
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1/4 c
    corn starch
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • salt to taste

How To Make crockpot cranberry pork roast

    In a Dutch oven, brown roast in oil on all sides over medium heat. Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker. Combine the cranberry sauce, sugar, cranberry juice, mustard, pepper and cloves. Pour over roast.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the meat is tender. Remove roast and keep warm.

    In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, water and salt until smooth. Stir in cooking juices. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with roast.
