1 pkg( 10 oz ) frozen french style green beans

1 Tbspbutter

1 Tbspall purpose flour

3/4 cmilk

2 Tbspsoy sauce

1 cdairy sour cream

2 ccubed cooked ham
-
1 can( 5 oz ) water chestnuts, drained, and thinly sliced

1 cbuttered soft bread crumbs ( 1 1/2 slices )

1 or 2 dashpaprika
How To Make cantonese casserole

1Pour boiling water over beans to separate; drain well. In a saucepan, melt butter; blend in flour. Stir in milk and soy sauce; cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat till thick and bubbly.

2Stir in sour cream, cubed ham, beans, and water chestnuts. Pour into a 10 x 6x 1 1/2 inch baking dish

3Sprinkle crumbs atop; dash with paprika. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or till hot.
