This is a Paula Deen recipe. Fabulous meatloaf. I have made a few edits in parenthesis. I normally always make a double batch, then slice and freeze the second meatloaf in individual servings.

Ingredients For bacon cheeseburger meatloaf

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 10 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled (i use 5 slices)
  • 8 oz
    sharp cheddar cheese, grated (i use 4 oz)
  • 2 lg
    eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/4 c
    breadcrumbs (i use oatmeal)
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/3 c
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    mustard (i use dijon)
  • 3 oz
    french fried onions

How To Make bacon cheeseburger meatloaf

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    In a large bowl, combine everything down to the ketchup. Mix well...get in there with clean hands.

    In a small bowl, combine the ketchup and mustard. Stir 1/4 cup ketchup mixture into meat mixture, reserving remaining ketchup mixture.

    Press meat mixture into a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan, or shape into a loaf and place on a rack in a broiler pan. Spread remaining ketchup mixture over loaf. Bake 40 minutes. Top with French fried onions; bake another 10 to 15 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink.

    You can also make this in mini loaf pans for couples or singles. Be sure to adjust the baking time downward. Bake before or after freezing.
