Ingredients For shrimp primavera

    tomatoes, peeled and diced or
  • 2 can
    diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/4 c
    onions, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 lb
    shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
  • 1/3 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 c
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/3 c
    tomato paste
  • 1/4 c
    fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1-2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 lb
    fresh asparagus, cut into 2-3 inch spears
  • 1 lb
    dry fettuccine

How To Make shrimp primavera

    In medium saucepan, combine tomatoes, mushrooms, water, tomato paste, onion, parsley, basil, sugar, salt, pepper and garlic.

    Boil gently, uncovered about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add the shrimp, heat through.

    Meanwhile, boil the noodles according to package directions. Add the asparagus for the last 3 minutes of cooking, drain.

    Toss pasta and sauce together and serve. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
