My mom use to make this, and us children couldn't get enough. It's cheap and easy to make.

Ingredients For on the cheap chili macaroni

  • 1/2 pkg
    elbow macaroni
  • 1 lg
    can chili beans, any flavor
  • 1
    can diced tomatoes w/ chiles
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1
    8 oz pkg reduced-fat, shredded mexican-style cheese, or cheddar cheese

How To Make on the cheap chili macaroni

  • 1
    Heat oven to 350. Spray a casserole dish w/ cooking spray.

    Cook pasta as directed, drain. In lg pot, cook beans, tomatoes and onions over medium heat until bubbly.

    Stir in macaroni and 1/2 the cheese, stir until cheese melts. Spoon mix into casserole dish. Bake 20 mins.
