My mom used to make this with left over turkey. it is fantastic.

Ingredients For mom sykes turkey loaf

  • 1 1/2 c
    hot milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 4
    eggs well beaten
  • 1 c
    soft fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 c
    grated cheese (1/4 lb velveeta)
  • 2 c
    cubed cooked turkey
  • 2 c
    cooked and drained elbow macaroni
  • 1 sm
    onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup (used for gravy does not go into main recipe)

How To Make mom sykes turkey loaf

    Melt butter in hot milk.
  • 2
    Combine remaining ingredients.
  • 3
    Pour milk and butter over mixture and stir constantly.

    Pour into 1 lb greased loaf pan.

    Sit loaf pan in a roasting pan with 1” of hot water in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 – 60 minutes. Until a knife comes out clean.

    Let stand in pan for 5 min. until inverting on platter.

    Slice and serve with thick Cream of Chicken soup as sauce.
