Nice for the burger lovers so easy and fabulous. You can eat with french fries, corn chips or sweet potato fries and for drink a very cold beer is a good combinacion for all burgers.

Ingredients For "homestyle burger with gouda, onions and caprese"

    ground beef
  • 1 1/2
    onion
  • 1/2
    green pepper
  • 1/2
    little sweet pepper
  • 2
    garlic
  • a bit of fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp
    tropical seasoning or spanish seasoning with coriander and annatto
  • 4 slice
    gouda cheese
  • 4
    burger bread
  • 2
    roma tomatoes
  • 4 oz
    mozzarella
  • 4
    leaves fresh basil
  • 1 oz
    balsamic vinegar
  • 3 oz
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    mustard
  • 1 oz
    butter
  • vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper

How To Make "homestyle burger with gouda, onions and caprese"

    First make the caprese salad, if you have the mozzarella in little balls good if not cut de mozzarella as you like best, the tomatoes in circles and chopped the basil. Put in a bowl the mozzarella and the tomatoes, add the balsamic vinegar, the olive oil, basil, salt and peper and mix.

    For the burgers, put in a food processor a half of onion, green pepper, sweet pepper, garlic and cilantro, add a bit of vegetable oil and crushed. Add this to the ground meat and add the seasoning, salt and pepper mix and make the burgers.If you like you can add a littler more of onions and pepper in small dice for texture, I like that. When the burger is almost cooked put the gouda cheese on the top.

    To the sauteed onions cut the onions in juliana and mix with the the mustard. In a pan add a little juice of the burger, butter and the onions and sauteed. For the plating on one side of bread put the burger with the cheese and the onions and on the other side the caprese salad. If you like add a little mayonnaise to the bread and enjoy.
