WHEN I WAS A YOUNG BRIDE (35+ YEARS AGO) SOME FRIENDS DROPED BY , AND STAYING LONGER THAN EXPECTED I NEEDED A QUICK MEAL. Not having much on hand I CAME UP WITH THIS SIMPLE DISH . It was a hit with everyone. Over the years I have made it for pot lucks and family dinners, I never have left overs.

Ingredients For b.b.q. polish sausage.

    pkg. bun size polish sausage
  • 1
    red or yellow onion sliced into strips.
  • 1
    large green peppers thinley slced into strips.
  • 1
    (18 oz ) jar b.b.q. sauce ( your choice of flavors)
  • 1
    pakage hot dog buns

How To Make b.b.q. polish sausage.

    place polish sausage in a baking dish, add onions, peppers on top of sausage, add b.b.q. sauce over all.

    place foil over dish to cover pan, place in oven at 350 for 30 minutes.

    take out of over let stand 5 minutes, place on hot dog buns and enjoy.
