I found this recipe in my mom's hand-writing after she passed away. Neither of my brothers or myself remember her ever fixing it, but I tried it and it is wonderful. Kids love it and it's really filling

Ingredients For rita's tamale pie

1 canlarge can of tamales, paper pulled off

1 lgonion, diced

1 pkgchili cheese fritos

1 lgcan of chili without beans
How To Make rita's tamale pie

1Start with the onion on the bottom of a casserole dish. then the tamales, then crush up the Fritos and put a layer on top of tamales, then the chili spread on top of Fritos, and then top off with the cheese. Bake for about 40 minutes at 350 until cheese is hot and bubbly.
